RECREATURA_arts&culture was created in December 2008 when a group of like-minded Europeans decided to start something they”d all been longing for in Valencia, Spain: a European association dedicated to the idea of active European citizenship through the organisation of innovative and ambitious cultural events. Our events include visual arts, literature, music, performing arts, wine and food, and often take place in up-and-coming venues or other areas of the city. Our intent is to bring people together and build new networks, both social and professional. Through this website we invite you to find out more about our past and future activities.

before leaving on our summer break we would like to thank you for your active participation in all our events in the first semester of 2010. We had loads of fun and are already preparing new surprises for you!
With the heat around and many of our members travelling in July and August, we decided to take a break to recharge our batteries and return with full energy in September.
